• How to keep your hair flawless during the summer

I guess many of us girls are struggling with dry hair, as we expose it to the sun and salt from the ocean. There’s nothing worse than the feeling of your hair all tangled up and dry, yuks. So here is my advice and the products I use to maintain my hair nice and soft during the summer.

    1. Macadamia Oil Extract Shampoo

I found this shampoo before I went to Italy in a shop called Normal here in Denmark, and I must say it really makes your hair feel nice by providing moisture and protection. Lately I’ve been switching out my shampoo and conditioner regularly since none of it has lived up to my expectations. My hair seemed a bit dull and lifeless, but now I think it looks much better by using these products. I only use the shampoo on my scalp, and not in the entire hair as it can make your hair dry.

    2. Macadamia Oil Extract Hair Treatment

My favorite part! Using a hair mask weekly, definitely makes your hair maintain nice and soft. I use this hair mask, which is in the same series as my shampoo, after I have shampooed my hair. Usually I don’t have much time in the mornings to leave it in my hair, but it says 7-10 minutes before you rinse it out. That’s quite a while to just wait, so when I wait for that long I put the mask in my entire hair and then put it in a bun and get out of the shower to do something in the meantime. After the waiting when you rinse it out, trust my you can already feel how soft your hair is.

    3. Aussi Luscious Long Conditioner

Many people tend to forget the conditioning after using a hair mask, as it feels so soft, so why need it? The conditioner makes sure so ‘close’ the ends of your hair, while a mask only adds moisture to it and doesn’t give the same effect as a conditioner. I only use the conditioner in my ends, as using it in the entire hair can make it greasy. Even though it might seem worthless conditioning your hair, it’s absolutely not as it prevents you from split ends. So remember it girls, those extra minutes will benefit you!

I hope this was useful and please let me know if there’s anything else you want to know, kisses!

Having dry hair, I have a lot of problems balancing the needs of hydration during summer and the desire to avoid looking dirty with too oily products, so thanks for the suggestions!BTW, I love Aussie products, when living in London they used to be my fav ones, but I am not able to find them in Luxembourg. Any suggestion?ThanksCoriewww.barefootinluxembourg.com
